The movie Taza, Son of Cochise 3D, the two sons of Apache chief cochise (Jeff Chandler) have conflicting views on white people who tremble on their land; Taza (Rock Hudson) advocates peaceful coexistence, but his younger brother naiche (Bart Roberts) joins Geronimo on the warpath. One of the few westerns made in the 1950s that attempted to present a positive view of native Americans, Taza, son of Cochise was the second of eight films produced by rock Hudson with Director Douglas Sirk. Shot on location in Utah, the natural landscape of the desert is one of the many virtues of the film, which is vividly captured by excellent technical cinematography.
