Beetlejuice Beetlejuice 3D 2024 Thirty-six years after the events of the first Beetlejuice 1988 movie, Lydia Dietz hosts a talk show about the supernatural where she notices the ghost of Beetlejuice. At her father's funeral, Lydia accepts a marriage proposal from Rory, but her daughter Astrid runs away and meets the ghost of Jeremy, who asks for help. They enter the afterlife and Lydia is forced to turn to Beetlejuice for help, agreeing to marry him. However, Beetlejuice breaks the rules, leading to his disappearance. At the end, Lydia and Astrid reaffirm their love for Delia, who is reunited with Charles in the afterlife, while Lydia continues to have nightmares about Beetlejuice.
