In the 4th season of this American crime anthology based on the 1996 film by the same name, the head of a Black family involved in illegal dealings goes to war with the head of an Italian mafia in Kansas City, Missouri in 1950, as they both intend to get their share of the American dream. They end up calling a truce with each other, and to seal their deal, the two crime bosses trade one of their sons to the other one's family organization and they continue to go about the business of making alternative income by illegal means.
