This is a HD scan from film reels provided to movie theaters. So although HD Blu-Ray, do not expect the quality. What you should expect is a film with many imperfections, such as film scratches, audio pops and blemishes, like the old 'cigarette burns' which indicate an incoming reel change. A grindhouse experience with the film itself being true to how it was originally released, with no edits or changes.
