My Super Psycho Sweet 16 is an American made-for-television slasher trilogy (2009–2012) produced by MTV. It satirizes the reality series My Super Sweet 16 by placing teen drama, social cliques, and extravagant birthday parties in the context of a masked killer. The films, directed primarily by Jacob Gentry and written by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, center on outcast teenager Skye Rotter (Lauren McKnight) and the lethal legacy of her serial-killer father, Charlie Rotter (the “Lord of the Rink”). Each installment unfolds around a Sweet 16 celebration that turns deadly.
