Shock Treatment 3D 1981 follows Brad and Janet Majors, who are married and living in the town of Denton. They participate in a game show called Marriage Maze where Brad is drugged and declared insane. He is institutionalized in a facility run by Dr. Cosmo McKinley, who seeks to create a perfect duplicate of Brad. Janet becomes a star on the show "Oh, My, Just You Wait," which she continues to perform for the camera. The film is a surreal, darkly satirical musical centered on the themes of marriage, entertainment, and consumerism, featuring a paranoid score from Richard O'Brien.
