The Rip 3D 2026 film tells the story of a Miami police tactical team that investigates the murder of its captain, Jackie Velez. Lieutenant Dane Dumars receives a tip about a stash of 20 million dollars from a drug cartel in a house in Hialeah. On the spot, he deliberately tells each team member a different amount in order to identify a possible traitor. His suspicions are confirmed when Detective Mike Roe begins secretly contacting outside forces.Soon, the house is under siege, and Dumars reveals his plan: he faked the theft to lure out the real killers of Velez — corrupt DEA agent Matty Nix and his accomplices. With the help of Detective Byrne and information from the landlady's granddaughter, Desi, the team manages to gather evidence against the traitors. In the final shootout, Nix is killed and Ro is arrested. The money is returned, and some of it goes to Desi as a reward. The operation is coming to an end, but the shadow of Captain Velez's loss remains with his surviving comrades.
